2-8-0 Consolidation
BLW is now offering Legacy custom decorated 2-8-0's. While MDC will release a "Bumblebee" DRGW version (see below), we are offering the black Rio Grande "Speed Lettering" version shown above, as well as N de M and Rio Grande Southern. Click on photo above for more details.
MDC/Roundhouse 2-8-0 Consolidations are a limited run offering. Locos are based on an 1889 Baldwin prototype. Features include:
  • Free standing piping details, roof mounted brass detail parts
  • All drivers powered with traction tires on 2 axles - extremely smooth running/quiet mechanism
  • Electrical pick-up on all drivers and tender wheels
  • Operating Directinal Headlight
  • 5 Pole skew-wound motor complete with flywheel, reliable tender drive
